The Bible is an incredibly old book - and often when we think about the morals that the Bible promotes, it's easy to picture them as belonging to a bygone era. It's especially common in modern day America to view the Bible's moral commandments as something that was a better fit for when our Grandparents were growing up... but somehow they don't make as much sense for our modern fast-past and technology driven society.
But is this true? Is the moral stance that the Bible takes really just a product of ancient times and ancient cultures... or is there something deeper at work? As Christians who embrace the Bible as the Word of God - how can we better understand this objection to our faith... and how can we clearly and compassionately explain these Bible truths to skeptical people?
Jesus is calling us to be ready to give an answer... and then to live out that answer with our lives.
