This Sunday we return to our study of the Book of Daniel! This is a fascinating and unusual portion of the Bible: a chapter written by a gentile King! Here in Daniel Chapter 4 we get to read the testimony of King Nebuchadnezzar, in his own words! As we'll see, Nebuchadnezzar had another troubling dream, received the interpretation (and a warning!) from his trusted advisor Daniel, failed to heed the warning - and spent 7 terrifying and humiliating years living like an animal. What a long way to fall for one of the most powerful kings to have ever lived! And yet... at the end of all this drama, Nebuchadnezzar emerges with a changed life - and with a powerful lesson for all of us these thousands of years later.
