In part 2, we'll be looking at WHY didn't Daniel and his friends want to eat the king's food... and how were they able to sustain the courage to stand out that dramatically in a hostile environment? We all know that standing out will usually make you a target! Therefore, as Christians that have been called to stand up for Jesus, we have much we can learn from the example of these brave young men.
How do we navigate this life in such a way that we don't just survive, but thrive as the people of God living in a strange land?
