This Sunday we reach chapter 7 in our ongoing study of the Book of Daniel. So far we've seen Daniel interpret two mysterious dreams for King Nebuchadnezzar, and interpret the 'writing on the wall' for King Belshazzar... but here in chapter 7 we'll read about a mysterious dream that Daniel himself had! It's a vivid and disturbing vision of terrible beasts emerging out of a stormy sea. And it ends with a glorious vision of the 'Ancient of Days' as He judges and destroys the beasts. As Daniel receives the prophetic interpretation of this vision, we'll immediately notice the parallels to King Nebuchadnezzar's dream of the great statue - but we will also gain new details and a heavenly perspective on these coming world events.
This chapter is full of tremendously exiting prophecy - but also some deeply practical lessons and warnings for us today. These lessons will help us not just survive our time in 'Babylon' - but learn to thrive here!
