We've reached the 11th message in this series, and we’ll be looking at the most misunderstood part of the Trinity: The Holy Spirit! As we’ll see, the Bible teaches that the Holy Spirit is NOT just some ‘force’ or impersonal energy… but rather is a distinct person and fully God. Jesus spoke extensively about the Holy Spirit and His vital ministry in our lives. So much so, that Jesus actually said it was BETTER for Himself to depart Earth back to Heaven, so that He could send the Holy Spirit to come dwell inside each believer (John 16:7). Tomorrow, we’re examining one of Christ’s key teachings on the Holy Spirit, His place in the Trinity, and His work in the world and in each of our lives today. The Christian life was never meant to be lived in our own power – rather God has called each of us to live a supernatural, Spirit-filled life! The more we get to know and appreciate the Holy Spirit, the better we can tune our hearts to listen to His reproving and guiding in our lives. As usual, we’ll also consider the main attack on the Bible’s teaching about the Holy Spirit, the Core Christian stand for these truths, and close with a practical look at how our day-to-day lives are changed by presence of the Holy Spirit!
