This Sunday we continue to our study of the book of Daniel – and we'll begin our study of chapter 9! This chapter contains what is probably my favorite prophecy of Jesus Christ in the whole Bible! It is deeply significant, however, that this vision of the future comes AFTER one of the most incredible prayers of repentance... the Prophet Daniel stands as a timeless role model for how to undertake a serious search for God.
If God seems far away, we can be certain that WE are the one who moved. But how do we find our way back into close fellowship with the King of Kings? Through a close study of Daniel's prayer and his example, we will learn the key elements to this critical task.
