This Sunday we'll be laying out the pastoral vision for 2025 for our church family. Our theme verse for the year is 1 Peter 5:8-10. Two weeks ago we looked at how these verses apply to us individually as we prepare to stand during trials... and tomorrow we'll consider how these verses apply to us all together as a church family. The Bible warns us, in very stark terms, about how the Devil is looking for wounded people he can destroy. Since we'll all get knocked down from time-to-time, we urgently need our brothers and sisters in the faith to be there to help pick each other up! This Sunday we'll study this passage in 1st Peter together, present the Pastoral Vision for 2025 that grew out of these verses, and then look at some of the practical ways we plan to implement this vision over the coming months.
